What is Full Spectrum CBD?2020-05-27T20:43:35+00:00

Full Spectrum CBD includes all the cannabinoids from the cannabis plant which create
something called the entourage effect – meaning rather than isolating one of the cannabinoids,
they work more effectively together, giving the desired result.

Can CBD help with COVID-19?2020-05-27T20:46:56+00:00

CBD is not seen as a cure for coronavirus in humans, but it has multiple important properties, experts said, that address issues felt by individuals contracting the disease. CBD may not be a coronavirus antidote, but it does have anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties. That is important for individuals who acquire the coronavirus and have diarrhea, pain, and other inflammation. CBD is also considered to relieve tension and anxiety. Both of these products aid in fighting the illness.

Cannabinoids may be immunosuppressive, as well. However, the use of CBD or another cannabinoid that reduces inflammation against a virus that does not require inflammation as a mode of host invasion induces a degree of immunosuppression in the host, rendering the virus more likely to kill. This is a critical problem. Thus, without further analysis and comprehension of the complete route of infection or a better understanding of every mechanism caused by cannabinoids (including immunosuppression or inflammation inhibition) — let alone all possible cross-interactions— it is premature and possibly risky to presume that all cannabinoids will work the same way and achieve the type of cannabinoids.

CBD and the Coronavirus
There are several second messenger systems (e.g., cAMP, AKT, AMPK, Mark, NF-kappaB, notch, tgfB, etc.), each of which has several control proteins that then respond to activating or influencing certain pathways/proteins to produce the desired result. Inflammation (in which we believe CBD is highly beneficial towards Coronavirus Covid-19) related to one of these main pathways.

Although it is beyond the reach of this brief article to include a full overview of cannabinoids and second messenger signaling, it is appropriate to suggest that cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system are like the traditional “one ring to rule them all”: the endocannabinoid system, via cannabinoids (plant or endo), communicates with every other mechanism in the body through the second messenger signaling to carry any single system into the body.

How can CBD help with Coronavirus?
There is no proof to show that given common rumors, cannabidiol(CBD) can be used to heal, manage, or avoid coronavirus or coronavirus symptoms. Here’s what CBD will help with during a panic phase.

1. Pain Reliever:
CBD is common as a pain reliever for its efficacy because of its anti-inflammatory effects. Yet anybody who has bought CBD from both a reputable pharmacy and a counter at the gas station will testify that potency ranges widely from drug to drug. The effectiveness of CBD isolates increases at a “normal” dosage and is typically less realistic than full-spectrum items made from the whole plant, with all kinds of cannabinoids — including small THC levels— and intact terpenes. Evidence suggests that whole plant-derived goods are far more effective, and you can take a lower dosage than isolate and see comparable results, if not more stable.

2. For Immune System Support:
Lots of further work is required to reliably chart the interaction between the immune and endocannabinoid systems, although it is well known that CBD tends to suppress autoimmune and inflammatory reactions that trigger self-harm. “CBD has been shown to serve as a modulator of the immune system,” says Anna Symonds, director of CBD Accredited program at East Fork Cultivars. “Which means it’s like a thermostat— it may dial down or up the activity frequency, based on the needs of the individual.”

Smoking weed (or something else for that matter) isn’t what the doctor recommends when you have a respiratory infection. Viral infections also display body aches and pain complaints, bad sleep, fatigue, and signs of inflammation (fever). Although it is possible that CBD and THC can relieve all of these conditions, little research is being conducted to support the value of cannabis in colds or flu. It is not advised to smoke or vape during an active infection, because this can also irritate the lungs. When you are going to consume cannabis during your illness, we consider consuming edibles during your illness as a healthier option.

The CBD can modulate or remove cytokine activity and secretion. Cytokines are broad classes of proteins in the digestive system, secreted from different cells. Its role is to signal molecules that control the development of immunity, inflammation, and white blood cells in your body. CBD may also suppress chemokine output, which is a group of cytokines that act as chemoattractants. They lead immune cells to an infection location so white blood cells can strike and kill bacteria that enter them.

Ideally, you don’t want to block the inflammatory reaction of your body, because toxins may then disperse across your body. You don’t want to encourage the premature death of cells, nor do you want to hinder the stable growth of cells. You will definitely not want to remove the proteins that trigger the immune response and direct white blood cells to where they need to go. And you certainly don’t want to inhibit the work of your T-cell and therefore obstruct the capacity of your body to kill antigens and recall certain attackers.
Since CBD acts as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant, a stable individual may not have to look for an immune supplement. Yet CBD may be an ideal option for rehabilitation or diagnosis for anyone who has an inflammatory disorder.

3. Physical Discomfort:
Physical pain may be related to aging. Globally, back pain is the leading cause of the disease at any given period impacting over 540 million individuals. Twenty-three percent of all people in the United States experience mutual pain, another major source of illness. A medical doctor must attend to these conditions.
During this coronavirus pandemic, you might be forced to operate from home, minimize engagement with others-means remaining at home, or also, in certain situations, self-quarantine if you think you might be contaminated or come into touch with an infected person.
In effect, this can limit your physical activity and can maximize your pain. One way to reduce back pain and joint discomfort are by getting physically involved. You may notice that in this case, you don’t have enough exercise. CBD can have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, which can benefit people suffering from chronic pain. Preclinical research performed in 2014 investigated CBD as a malaise remedy.

4. Help with Mood:
Emergencies in public safety are upsetting to people and may trigger terror, pain, and anxiety. Having heard that an epidemic has traveled to your territory, or someone you meet is sick, is far more frightening.
During these pandemics, certain feelings of tension, anxiety, sadness, and insecurity are natural. Turning to trustworthy news outlets and coronavirus.gov will aid you in stressing your mood. CBD can function to modify the serotonin signals by interfering with CB1 and CB2 receptors in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Serotonin is a related neurotransmitter of emotional wellbeing. Not getting enough serotonin will give rise to anxiety.
